Matt. 6:33
One day morning, while I was taking my quiet time with the Lord, God spoke to me in my mind; “Hniang Uk, you don’t worry what you should worry, but you worry what you should not worry”. And I asked Lord, “Lord, what are those things?” And the Lord taught me this lesson. Let’s see:
Basically what are the things that we are so worrying? Being a student in foreign country most of the time I worry for Money! Material things! Actually, the root of all things that we are so worrying is MONEY. But in that morning God said, “these are so easy for Me”. The things that we are so worrying are so easy for God.
But we don’t care and we don’t worry the things that God is so concerned, which is the right relationship with Him. Without this God won’t/can’t do anything in our lives and won’t intervene in our lives. You may ask, “who can have the right relationship with God?” Very simple! By the way, do we really have Jesus in our lives? How is our daily lives, our daily devotion, our quiet time with the Lord, our prayer, our obedience? Are our hearts ready and totally for Him? Is there anything that we are putting ahead of God?
Matthew 6:33, Are we seeking first the Lord every morning? Do this first! Then every thing we need will be added. Actually we don’t even need to ask. Heavenly Father knows what we need!
Lord, teach us not to worry the future, but to worry the relationship with YOU!
